Need to find housing on Gotland during the summer?
Between June and August, Gotland enters its tourist season, which can make it a bit more challenging to find a place to stay. Below you’ll find tips on how and where to look for different housing options during the summer months.
Summer Opening Hours 2026
Gotlands Studentbostad is closed for summer holidays during the periods 24 June–2 July and 17 July–3 August.
During these periods, our email and phone are unattended. Any enquiries received will be answered as soon as possible once the office has reopened

Housing Companies Offering Student Accommodation During the Summer
The housing companies listed below offer student accommodation during the summer.

- Insig – Insig offers student apartments with 12-month contracts.

Private Landlords Offering Student Accommodation During the Summer
Some private landlords also offer accommodation during the summer, although the selection is often more limited than during the academic year.
